Certified Technicians

Rockhill Veterinary Associates employs trained and licensed certified Veterinary Technicians. They provide an additional layer of professional expertise for our patients and clients. Our "vet techs" are involved in laboratory testing, blood transfusion and chemotherapy, radiology, surgery, and intensive care treatments.

Our overnight nursing staff provides supervision and treatments during the week for our routine medical and surgical patients as well as our critical ICU patients receiving oxygen or intravenous fluid therapy. Trained in all phases of treatments, our team is available for after-hours emergencies Monday through Friday so that our patients do not have to be referred to an emergency clinic in case of unexpected illness or injury. The techs also are involved in client education and patient discharge enabling our doctors to spend more time on medical and surgical problems.

Our clients soon appreciate the TLC and professional knowledge our veterinary technicians provide to them and their special pets.
